You are not alone. It's not your fault. There is hope.
Hope After Loss
Losing a loved one to addiction brings a range of emotions from shame to regret to agonizing sorrow. Hope After Loss helps people process their emotions to move forward on the journey of healing and restoration. By walking through grief together in the light of God’s Word, we can begin to find strength, purpose, peace and HOPE in the midst of our circumstances.
In 2021, Rhonda's experience with Lacy's addiction led her to an opportunity to be a co-creator of HAL, a chapter affiliated with Hope is Alive Ministries. The team of women, three of whom lost children to drug overdoses, wanted their mission to be one of support to come along side of hurting family members who were also grieving the loss of a loved one due to overdose. Hope
After loss is a faith based group unlike other grief support groups, concentrating on lifting up those who have suffered loss due to addiction.
Hope after loss held their first annual retreat September, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. The retreat was such a great success, the attendees were invited to stay connected through Zoom Meetings, which led to in-person meetings that are currently held. The second Hope After Loss retreat will be held at Post Oak Lodge this October 7-9 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Hope After Loss meets twice a month. One meeting is given over wholly to testimonies, and the other meeting is centered on a faith-based lesson. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picture of their loved one. Click on the Hope After Loss image above to find meetings near you.

So excited for our fifth annual event
Once again we will be remembering other children gone too soon. Please let me know if you would like a sign made in someone’s honor. They will be displayed throughout the course during the tournament and in the clubhouse during the dinner.
